Like any little boy Mort enjoys running, playing outside and getting very dirty. And, like any little boy after his bath and buzz cut he headed right to the shop, rolled around in the dust and rubbed up against the grease guns. He's just like all the other males on this farm.
We give our golden retriever Bailey a "summer shave" every year. So sure, for a few weeks she looks like a labrador and not a golden, but it keep her cool and just cleans her up. It is just hard to be an outdoor farm dog with a lot of hair in the summertime - looks like Morton feels the same way :)
